Now that I have returned to the low country of Savannah, Ga, I am embracing my new life by returning to my bohemian roots. It's an unconventional lifestyle filled with rich beautiful colors. My childhood idol was Stevie Nicks and I can relate best to these lyrics:
"So I'm back, to the velvet underground
Back to the floor, that I love
To a room with some lace and paper flowers
Back to the gypsy that I was"
I can still remember my mother shaking her head at her six year daughter as I dressed myself for school wearing my favorite pink velvet bell bottoms with green flower ribbon trim attached at the bottom and my purple butterfly shirt. I have always loved mixing color palettes and patterns. It has taken me years to get it right and I still miss the mark every once in awhile!
